Angela is a music supervisor based in Los Angeles.
Her passion for music of all genres often manifests itself in a row of open browser tabs and splayed out album liner notes. She was heavily involved at independent radio station KXSC. There, she hosted, produced, and booked up and coming artists for the KXSC Live Show and further explored her musical curiosities through Stereotype, a show that she DJ'd around specific themes. That led to her job in A&R at Republic Records, where she facilitated acclaimed soundtracks such as Retrospective: The Music of Mad Men and 50 Shades of Grey. After Republic Records, she worked under the tutelage of respected music supervisor Julia Michels as a music coordinator where she had the opportunity to not only learn, but also contribute to films such as A Star Is Born, the Pitch Perfect franchise, and more.
Now as a music supervisor for film, TV, and advertising, Angela collaborates with filmmakers, brands, and agencies to bring their visions to life through music. Whether it's securing music rights, coordinating on-camera artist appearances, budgeting, or using her taste, knowledge, and relationships to creatively enhance a scene, Angela works tirelessly to find musical solutions. Outside of music supervision, she continues to do guest DJ sets for the likes of dublab and Resonance Extra. She also enjoys reading and doing all things food-related.
